From Sony studio Sucker Punch, the teams behind the Infamous series comes a new Samurai game, Ghost of Tsushima. Announced last year with a cinematic teaser gomes a first look at live gameplay in a typically impressive PlayStation E3 demo.
Set during the Mongol Invasion of Japan in the 13th century, after a brief look at some gorgeous countryside it isn't long before we get to see some intense swordplay.
In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques--the way of The Ghost--and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.
From the slow motion take-downs to the scaling of rooftops and the wonderful animation that comes with shaking blood off a sword before sheathing it, Ghost of Tsushima look great. No release date or window was set.
Wow, this looks good. Real good. Sony keeps killing it with their exclusives
