As part of our recent Gaming PC Build, we ended up with 32GB of Crucial Ballistix Elite memory. It came down to a coin toss between that and the RGB flavour of G.Skill's TridentZ line. And now with the announcement of the new Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR4 Gaming Memory, we can get the best of both worlds.

Ballistix seems to have gone all out with the re-design, as the new Tactical Tracer RGB modules, available in both 8GB and 16GB sizes with speeds up to 3000 MT/s, offer 16 RGB LEDs in 8 zones. Modders can even customise the look by removing the light bar or 3D printing their own.

The new memory will also be compatible with Ballistix's M.O.D. Utility software where gamers can monitor memory temperatures, adjust RGB colour schemes, brightness, turn the lights on and off, and switch up display patterns.

Ballistix Tactical Tracer RGB DDR4 modules are available to purchase at Crucial.com and through select partners.
