Did anyone have one of these lying around?I can't find anywhere to buy one, probably cause they aren't made anymore.
Are you talking about a low profile card with a low profile bracket? If so Umart has some.
Here you go:
They are very good cards.
Oh yeah, pci express won't work for me cause it's for something with a p4 in it. You know, single core cpu
...and old P4 won't get your Corolla back on the road Spook, how hardcore have petals domestic budgetary reforms been man?
I'm using an Old (in the grand scheme of things) Core-i7-860 rig that I was considering selling at some point in the future, want me to keep you in mind?
Low K's, still goes well the current 'choke point' of this system is the Eyefinity 6 model ATi 5870 that I'm using.
(So it'll play everything, but there are better frame rates to be had with a different Vid card in this rig)
Spock not spook bro
Spock not spook bro
I'll just see myself out.
AWKWARD...I'll just see myself out.
I lol'd. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++ would lol again.
Semi related, can you put a PCIe card like this:
in a regular 16x slot? because my 1x slot is covered by a northbridge heatsink (dafuq were gigabyte thinking?)
nah, I'm guessing the question still applies though, thanks, but no thanks. problem solvered, don't need to do what i was going to anymore
let me know if you need one spock, i've got a gig pci half-height card here, full height bracket though
been raging at spock for encroaching on my name brand for years
You know what'd bee funny? I'd you were the guy who called me Spock at the first public lan I went to.

Yes, in theory you should be able to put a x1 in any of slots x1, x4, x8 and x16. I've put x4 and x8 cards in x16 slots, not 100% sure if I've specifically put a x1 in a x16.
Maybe I could use that, hardware. I'll chuck you a pm too

Yes you can, I put a 1x SB sound card into the missus comp and no probs, (except maybe the drivers).
