I'm looking for a budget smartphone.

Its a toss up between a iPhone 4.0 a Nokia Lumina 800, HTC Desire or a Sambung model whatever.

For povo, probably android (Nexus * if you can), easier to root and install "free" stuff.

Samsung Galaxy Ace for about $200. There are not many good phones for around the $200 mark unless you know someone who is selling their old/better one.

lumia 800 is only windows 7.5 which cannot upgrade to windows mobile 8. as long as you're cool with that.

Nexus 4 is far and away the best bang for your buck in smartphones right now (when it's actually in stock). But it's still not cheap cheap, depends what your budget is!

I have the galaxy ace and it does alright. I don't play any game on it though so I cant tell you how it runs angry birds. You can't get much for $200 like I said earlier but its decent. Its not lightning fast and it does have crap Optus puts on it and you cant remove it which is a shame. I use Virgin with it.

Last I heard LG were being little b****** about it, giving it very low priority. Makes sense when you consider that the Nexus 4 is seriously undercutting LG's own flagship phones that they actually make money on. Seems like Google probably should have drawn up a better contract with them.
