considering australian roads are already s***house enough, the last thing we need are wires running under them. Oh look a pothole, wait, what's this in the pothole? a live 400v wire? awesome.

no. just no.

I can't wait for the day when there's so much electromagnetism in the air that we fry our own brains, credit cards just mysteriously erase and birds start flying upside down. One of these days we're gonna pull all the damn satellites out of the sky with all these magnets.

I'm still stumped at the part where leeching electricity with these 'green cars' is 'free'....

It's already f***** $20 a day in the city for parking... now add a 'tank of fuel' to that.... (and the licence to gouge in pricing) and it all adds up to a pain in the ass.

No doubt the dinosaurs I'm fuelling my car with today will dry up eventually, but do we seriously think this is a reasonable alternative?
