hey guys...
I recently got battlefield bad company 2 through steam and I'm getting this weird glitch with the sound. (the glitch didn't happen with a HDMI cord, only when i changed over to a DVI cord) what happens is; i hear most of the sound but when i do certain things, the sound doesn't play or is extremely soft. the sounds that don't play are: when i reload, all radio sounds (those "enemy spotted!" sounds), when i drive a car i cant hear the engine, the mortar strike "beeps". those are the only ones i have noticed. does anyone know what's happening?? and how to fix it? my gear: mobo: Asus p8p67 pro CPU: i5 2500k GPU: GTX 550 no special sound card. all drivers are up to date. |
Yeah I was fiddling around with the .ini folders last night. The best I could do was raise the volume a little bit but it was so distorted you couldn't understand it. Did the re-install with no succes as well.
It's still playable, but frustrating. |
Who play bf:bc2 when bf3 is a gazillion times better?
Do yourself a favour enrique, ditch bf:bc2 and get bf3 |
I just got a pc that will run bf3. So it's definitely on the list of things to get lol. I play it on ps3 but I can't stand fps games on consoles.
I'm hoping this glitch is the game itself and not my pc otherwise I'll be pissed when I get the game |
i just realised the sound only sucks through the headphone jack in the front of the tower. if i plug my headphones in the speakers that are connected to the back, its all sweet (but i cant use my mic) :/
odd |
with my bfbc2 all the sound in the videos etc is really quiet.
|
Is BFBC2 still popular online with aussies?
|
I play both i like bf3 dont get me wrong but bc2 has another complete feeling about it.
|
bc2 maps are better imo. but the overall game bf3 is miles ahead.
