How do I Add Permissions for Server?

There is no tab or button to ADD users .. Only Remove Users. The only user there is myself under my name. I want to add a sub-admin to access the server via Procon I have set this up on Procon with username (Player name) and password however when I test it out it says "The password you have entered is incorrect" I have set the password correctly however on my laptop to test the account works I am pulling my hair out why this won't connect to my Procon Layer running on my main computer after I have created an Account under Accounts Tab with the player name and password. So I am thinking must be something to do with Permissions on GameCreate... |

Nothing to do with gamecreate.
You want to setup everything through your procon layer, make sure you have http enabled in your system if you want other users to connect and most important have your ports open. The only thing you need from gamecreate is the Rcon password ip and port which all can be found on your main server page. If you have not setup your rcon password you need to do so in the config and restart your server to apply it. Procon from a home setup is good but as soon as you turn your home computer off everyone looses connection to procon, you also will have lost connection with the server so any settings will be lost until you boot back up. A cheap host is the best way to go i pay $15 a year for a host in the USA and all it does is just connect to the server maybe the esiest option ive seen so far, full control of your setup without intervention of a host and you get to put as many servers on your layer as you want without charging for them. Nothing to do with gamecreate. I don't have a procon layer, just procon running on my computer. Do you recommend any procon layer hosts?Presuming Ausgamers don't offer this service so is it OK to discuss other providers that offer this service? I am using Gameservers at present as you said Ausgamers aren't doing this presently

OK I have used this procon and it now has a procon layer control tab. I have changed settings now so I don't need to have this running all the time and I can close it down and the settings will still be in effect on my server?
There is no "reload plugin" link anymore on the Procon window .. So I hopefully have it working. I have put in a "Bad Word" filter too!! Through "Insane Limits" plugin.. Recommend this plugin highly... |
