We have the files for the new R11 patch, but on review of the changelog we've decided at this time to wait until offpeak to deploy. This is subject to change depending on advice from DICE.

Please expect a downtime at approximately Midday AEDST Tomorrow (22 November) to deploy this patch. Servers will be offline for between 10 seconds and 5 minutes, depending on your position in the update queue on your host.

PC Server Update R11 Rolling Out
We are roling out a new server update on PC with some minor tweaks and a crash fix. Full change list below. We are also aiming to have a new PC game update live next week. Stay tuned for more on that.

R11 PC SERVER UPDATE CHANGE LIST
-Fixed a common server crash
-Fixed an exploit where a player could get unlimited ammo on mortars by redeploying them
-Fixed an issue where your score displayed in the scoreboard was cut in half during double xp events
-Removed the possibility for server admins to kick players on official servers by using PunkBuster
-Game mode counter can now be set up to 400% for Ranked servers and 500% for Unranked servers. In addition, idle time out can now be set up to 86 400 (24 hours) for both server types

Lives? Maybe. Asleep at that time, hell yes.

Patch is done, and some of the servers were full again less than 2 minutes after it was deployed.

Looks like a few of our servers aren't appearing in Battlelog, despite Procon connecting fine - everything all good at your end?

Yeah, I got a bit shouty with DICE's community guy last night about this, but they are listening and considering your (our) feedback. They really are great at listening and making sure they understand what you guys want, but they are very wrapped up in fixing bugs right now.


Basically:

They changed it so that "Ranked" now allows you to change the idle timeout and ticket counts to whatever you like.

"Normal" and "Hardcore" still lock it to exactly 100% - so the change doesn't help anyone who wants to run a Normal or Hardcore server.

I was trying to find my server under favourites tab it wasn't there possibly because you changed the IP address and moved the server. I wasn't complaining so I am not sure why you did this and didn't provide any notice. I had to alter all anticheat tools and gametracker and Procon. I firmly believe the issues we have are not
hardware related but software related to the EA/DICE release. Moving to another machine isn't going to fix that

Do you mean you were trying to find it in the favourites tab in GameTracker, or Battlelog? Your server's unique ID hasn't changed since 8 November, so it should still be in your favourites or history in Battlelog.

We do not wait for customer complaints to fix performance issues. Your server was on an over-subscribed host and would have provided very poor gameplay to anyone playing on it.

Changing the host isn't going to fix sound problems that still exists certain maps eg Golmud Railway. I would consider this more contfibuting to poor gameplay. So if you have planned maintianence you don't notify your customers in advance - you just go ahead and do it?

When R11 server patch came out I notice people all leaving the full 64 slot server at once just like a crash. I have a look at the Failure Reports and shows no crash have happen.
Was there a update/change in Failure Reports to not shot when server crash beside only show when it was stop/restarted?

Also I notice I cant make idle time out higher then 300
and tickets higher then 100 on ranked server?
