Mind taking a look at my Config?

Recently converted my server with you to Hardcore, as everyone in my community seem to be addicts of the mode. Was just wondering if there is any setting that I have that is making it appear as "Custom" instead of "Hardcore" Many Thanks, Morgedoo |

I checked your server and found that you've set the round time limit % to 0. This is causing your server to be loaded as custom, due to a recent change by DICE that has clamped certain variables to a set amount in order to be classified as "hardcore" or "normal". I've put it back to default for now, but if you'd like to customise it you will be put as custom.

We are getting reports that the hardcore preset may have been broken in the most recent patch from DICE, and are trying to get more information on the matter. We'll let you guys know when we do hear word back.

Hi,
I am using a plugin to send the vars.preset Hardcore command to my server every 5 minutes. Which keeps it on hardcore while being able to edit a greater amount of settings from what I previously could. I will probably edit/post again as to what I found. (Just not sure how to add those vars to the config without breaking the config editor :p..) Thanks AusGamers! |

I just had a chat with someone from DICE, and we identified the issue with hardcore, he'll have it fixed in the next release. You'll find your hardcore servers are setting soldier health at 59% rather than 60%. For now I've set a pb_task in the pbsv.cfg file to set hardcore every minute or so, that should workaround for now.
Morg: I'll add that stuff to the configuration page on Monday, so that way you won't have to edit the files yourself (if you want). |

Yeah Maltius, That's fine. Will the checkboxes be fully resolved by that point, as they are still not displaying for me :/

I'm working on this today, but a lot of these values are limited on ranked servers and locked on normal/hardcore servers, so I'm not certain that they'll have any effect.
Checkboxes is being worked on, I'll have to get the current status. |

These are now added, and I've cleaned up the layout of the configuration options generally to make them easier to find.
