Just incase no-one noticed theres a R8 update soon so this might fix some problems.It Also says DICE dont know when it will be ready so im sure ausgamers dont.So just keep a eye on this link.

EA/DISC info and say nothing a about a fix to servers crashing, only admitting to have no clue what causing the crash

R8 Update Notes:
*Fixed a number of dog tags that were showing up as blank in-game.
*Lowered the damage caused by Mobile AA Active Radar missiles to aircraft. The previous damage was incorrectly set too high.
*Improved server crash reporting and performance tracking on all platforms. This should further help us identify and fix server crashes going forward

Any word on servers being updated to R8? The other GSP we use update all their servers 12+hours ago.

Cannot see the version we are running in the control panel currently :(

The update is in progress at the moment. There are no performance or stability fixes in this release, so we decided to let you guys play last night rather than empty out your servers.

Great to see you guys posting more updates too.

Hopefully the logs fix will show the important lag issues and a way to fix it.

Yeah, DICE guys were quite excited last night about the additional performance and stability reporting that they'll get from this release, very positive about using it to find and kill the remaining problems.

Hi guys, just a very early heads up, our two servers have both now been patched.
Our larger server (50slots) filled pretty quickly, and subsequently bombed when at near capacity :(
Reports from a member who was in at the time, said the server felt as laggy as on day 1 of release, i.e. worse than with R7.
Hopefully whatever additional debugging & logging options DICE put in R8 help the devs work out resolutions to the core issues with stability/performance.

Nah our two servers bounced, minutes after the R8 update reboot .... but then after that (unexplained?) second bounce, our 50tix server started filling ... and then crashed.

Ours are up in battlelog, Gametracker seems blocked again though, cannot scan any of them.

Oh and you know how DICE are excited about all that extra reporting? Thats exactly what is currently being blamed for the extra rubberbanding, and extra crashing that R8 has provided.

We are currently experiencing some ongoing networking issues that are causing problems with the Battlefield 4 servers.

Investigations are underway as we try to resolve these issues though we currently have no ETA yet on when services will return to normal though we hope as soon as possible.
