Almost all games do this, ive seen cod, css, all bf games and some others just keep using up allocated memory, most only require around 512mb to run and play on.
Ive seen on mine it jumps up and down between the standard ~300mb to ~500mb depending on how many players are on the server. My average is 402 MB I dont think there is a way to limit FPS games on memory like you would say a minecraft server. |
We've attributed the climb in memory usage due to what appears to be memory leaks within maps, something that previously wasn't known due to the constant server crashing. Now that servers are _slightly_ more stable, memory leaks are starting to become more common knowledge, something that we've contacted DICE about with all information necessary.
We won't have an ETA on this specific issue as that relies heavily on DICE and their team to fix, but we will keep you updated on server performance and hopefully we see a fix sometime soon. |
