sorry to be a pain, but is there a known bug with the map list? I cant run only 1 map on the server. maplist file only has 1 map in there and the list in the config tab has only 1 map in there.

when the round is over, it loads a different map instead of the 1 I only have listed.

Hey there imminentsoldier,

I've fixed up the server in question, the problem was that you had set the variable properly in 'Configuration' tab however had entered a broken variable in the MapList.txt file located in the 'Files' tab.

The proper configuration for your server to have that specific map is Levels/MP/MP_Prison/MP_Prison ConquestLarge0 2

thanks for that.

But still all server load when the servers restarts. prison is listed as the first map but all maps are still loading in.

Alright so it looks like the server isn't actually reading the maplist.txt file on startup, which causes it to start with the chosen map but default to every other map.

We've sent a bug report to DICE and we'll have more on the issue soon, but in the meantime we've enabled an automatic task for PunkBuster that will read the maplist.txt on server startup, to ensure that the server is starting on the correct map.

You should find that your server is now reporting the correct one map chosen.

Could you do the same for us?

Our maplist keeps doing the same removed a few maps from the startup and seems to just kick straight back to them on server restarts.

Hopefully dice fix all these server issues quickly.

For those who like to completely randomise their map lists add the following command to the file section.

Edit: as soon as I figure out how to post code here I will.....

We've made the change global to every server, so all you need to do is just restart your server and it should take affect straight away.
