From blockbuster releases, indie gems, esports, and peripherals – we look at the best $50 and under gaming buys available today.

Catch Up on Some Classic Triple-A Games

It’s virtually impossible to stay on top of all the major releases out in any particular year, which means that sooner or later a classic gaming experience will pass you by. And sure, not being a part of the conversation as everyone talks about how great The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is – which it most certainly is – at the time of its release can feel like you’re missing out, the feeling will pass after a while. But the desire to play an amazing open-world RPG will always be there. Same goes for the excellent Egypt-set Assassin’s Creed Origins, which brought the long-running series back from feeling a little tired to one of the most engaging and fresh action-adventure experiences that money can buy. Add in titles likes DOOM from id Software, Grand Theft Auto V from Rockstar, and Fallout 4 from Bethesda, and you could pick up a few of the most talked about games of the past few years for well under $50.
