Over the weekend 160,000 viewers tuned in to watch Kings Gaming Club take the crown at the BenQ Zowie eXTREMESLAND 2017 ANZ Qualifier (yeah, catchy name), where they now find themselves on the road (or plane) to Shanghai for the BenQ ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND finals on October 19-22 where they'll CS: GO go go for a piece of the $100,000 USD prize pool.

The event opened with an exciting match-up between Athletico (who recently took the Rainbow Six Siege crown) and Chiefs Esports Club, which went 2-1 in the favour of Athletico. For Kings Gaming Club the road to victory wasn't exactly easy as they found tough competition in the semi-finals against Grayhound Gaming, taking that series 2-1.

In the final, which saw Kings go up against Ahtletico, they took the crown in two maps - 16-3 Overpass, 16-6 Train - earning their place as representatives of the ANZ region at the upcoming eXTREMESLAND finals.
