When I see a workplace exploiting its employees the first thing that comes to mind is to change things in a way that makes it even easier for workplaces to exploit their employees.

This is completely against infi's anti government, anti regulation philosophy. So he can only fart out something to do with the soviets & gulags.
How do we stop this kind of corruption within private businesses, infi?

Australia's industrial relations systems is the problem. It mandates uneconomic penalty rates and conditions set by a bunch of ex union officials that have no bearing with actual business outcomes.

If Dominos have broken the law they should be prosecuted but more importantly the IR system needs to be deleted.

Where an employer and employee agree on terms that should be the end of it. Employees are no different to Airtasker jobs, or people selling items on ebay or gumtree or uber or uber eats. Everyone using their labor to make a living.

NZ is far less regulated and it's economy is powering ahead of Australia. Australia's nanny State rules make it an anachronistic joke.

I'm curious infi, do you support the removal of all forms of intellectual property rights and protections that might prevent a former "employee" from taking what they learnt while performing a job including "trade secrets" and in turn using them for their own purposes?

From what I understand, Dominoes gets away with it because of the way the franchise is set up. It's exploitation by proxy.

Dominos don't actually force the franchise to do anything except meet that percentage goal, so they would need to investigate each franchise individually

that is quite a scam they have going

Clearly dominos are hurting, and we need to rermove minimum wage so that the business can be viable.

The respect. I'm sure your employees know their place.

There's no room for unsustainable businesses but instead of realising they're s*** at business they find other ways to make their business scrape through such as exploiting workers or putting their hand out for government help. Selling unsustainable $5 pizzas to crush the competition is awesome for all the other pizzerias doing the right thing.
