I have a mirco ATX mobo & space is a real issue(video card is too big).

So I am wondering if I can safely move my video card via a pci x 16 riser ribbon.

I haven't used them before and wondered is any here has?

Not sure about where to get them and do I need a powered one or not?

Any help would be muchly appreciated

I've done a few pci-e x16 and x8 riser cards without issue but never a riser ribbon.

I've seen people use those ribbons to run a s***-tonne of video cards in bitcoin miner machines. I imagine some interference might be introduced if they were too long but I dunno.
