Seesmic/twitter client replacement

In the past for managing multiple social media accounts - at least three twitter accounts for mountain biking, I've used Seesmic. Probaly six months ago they were bought out and it merged in to 'Hoot Suite', which is a paid client, and frankly, not up to scratch.
It looks like with the recent changes to Twitter, the security flaw, etc etc, Seesmic has now stopped working, so I can no longer use it. I therefore require a replacement.

I'm after some suggestions.
The important bit is it needs to be able to handle both Twitter and Facebook, and preferably allow me to post the same message to both sources *without* one just being a link to the other like some other annoying clients do.

Suggestions?

Ooh subscribed.

Twitter and others tend to scare third party developers away from using their APIs so there's not many unofficial clients out there. Tweetdeck has gone to crap apparently too :(
