The sleuths over on NeoGAF have uncovered a product sheet for Battlefield 3's upcoming End Game content expansion, revealing that the next DLC will mark the return of Capture the Flag and Air Superiority to the franchise, as well as dropships to perform both infantry and vehicle drops (thanks VG247).
Battlefield 3™: End Game delivers some of the most high-speed warfare to date across four vast maps. Race through enemy lines using the new dirt bike, bringing speed and agility to the Battlefield, or fight back aerial assaults with new lightweight AA vehicles. Coordinate lightning fast attacks and defenses in the return of the classic Capture the Flag game mode, or engage in massive dog fights in Air Superiority. In the skies, the new dropship introduces the ability to turn the tide with rapid deployment air drops of troop transports.

KEY FEATURES
Four vast and varied maps designed for high-speed combat and action
Three new vehicles including the fast and agile dirt bikes
New dropship provides support to ground troops with vehicle drop capabilities
Return of the classic Capture the Flag and Air Superiority game modes
Battlefield 3: End Game is due on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in March 2013 --likely with a two week headstart on PS3 once again, followed by Battlefield 3: Premium owners on PC and Xbox 360.

This more and more fits in with the idea these DLC's are all about testing things for BF4.

I actually quite like the way these Premium map packs have been turning out.

Yeah....another game mode that no one will play after 1 week.

At least the Aftermath maps are awesome to play. I haven't touched Armoured Kill at all really after the first few days and purposely avoid servers that have them in their rotation.

Preview to Air Superiority.

I looked at getting the expansions when there was a huge sale. The complete lack of servers and more servers playing the bog standard release maps changed my mind. Maybe things have changed...

i stopped playing for a few months; got sick of all the bs rules people put on their severs with no rpg/320 and the like; if its in the game you should be able to use it. dont get me wrong i hate spammers too; so why wouldn't all these people ban nades? doesn't make sense to me
just starting playing again last week on the new maps and they are all pretty good. as far as servers go there are only a handful of HC servers that are populated in the oceanic.
its been like that for months and months though. its a shame its taken then so long to get some good maps out. i lost most interest after the COD, i mean CQ maps come out and never took to AK; don't know why but they just don't play well, i guess if all the severs were full it may have been better?
looking forward to end game....drop ships sound interesting. wish they had titans and a pilim :)
are you fine people going to buy bf4? could be more of the same s*** disguised as bf again?
plus i still haven't forgiven dice for lying to the pc community about bf3 been produced on pc so i;m not sure i'll be getting it when it first comes out. maybe wait a few months and see if the servers drop off like bf3 did.

I might just reinstall this again.

Battlefield 1942 CTF was a tonne of fun. It certainly would have been good to play it on BF:BC2 maps.

i hated grens and m320 on metro it was just a f***fest of bulls***, you couldn't aim because every 0.3 of a second there is an explosion and you couldn't move up because of all the f*****g nade spam. There are plenty of servers that have no rules for them but you will notice that 80% of players dont use them for that reason.

I've never found servers that have weird/silly rules on it. Unless that's just on consoles?
