Counter-Strike version 1.0 released
Yes, the moment you've all been waiting for (except possibly the RA3 players *g*); CS 1.0 is out, and as usual we're ready to serve up the tasty goodness.

is qgl server updated yet? v1.0 doesn't tell you its a previous version until your connecting, and i dont want to sit there trying to get onto qgl just to have it say that its not updated yet

i don tknow who animated those models but they were seriously mentally defficiant, if ihanded in animation liketha for a 1st year assignment at uni id get the s***test mark, ive never seena realperson run at full speed whiel their torso doens't even move, it jus glides along while hislegs flail stupidly underneath, my god how GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree totally
but its valve that redid the models to accomodate the new animation system. but i hear that gooseman is converting the old models to the new animation system himself with all old animations intact. or something like that. |

err, for the past few weeks, me, scooby, resilient, c0rr and a few others have been playing beta 3.1.
half life + beta 3 trimmed down to 200 meg. the awp doesnt miss :D |

Well then. I guess I will still get it though. Im just happy it came out in time for the finals. Now if only Wind and Manson could dump KOF2000 by then, it would be perfect. Though im looking less forward to downloading that on my dialup connection than I am the CS update. Sure its only 30mb, but at 5k/s...

do you have a server up for beta 3.1????? I want to play. it was the BEST beta EVER. Since I'm d/l v1.0 now, and played since beta 1 day 1, i think this beta is going to also be gay, and cant wait to see what s*** people but onto the MOD :P hostile Intent will kick its arse now for sure. |

and did the scout come out in 3 or 4? after the p90 me thinks. and colt not f***ed and still have zoom :D me want to go to lan :( 2100kms from cable/good lans, and 1200kms from ASDL. this is a f***ed town, i want to be in brissy again. And whoop your arses at q2 :D |

gun running, no recoil on any guns except for ak i think, jumping around and s*** dont affect your accuracy (like that mid air awp c0rr?), and maps like cs_hideout, cs_bunker etc... fully ownz Badkarma p.s sif q2 dont rock ya |

Ummm, Deagle rapage????? We used the AWP and the Steyr sub machine gun. The Desert Eagle was the best pistol, but I have no recollection raving about it....
I seem to remember some guys saying that the steyr was CS's BFG when I used to use (just thought I'd give myself a rap :P). |

well why dont you download the bots or play on the net or somethign and then when you come down you can prove how skillful you sre.....and dont claim taht you were onyl good at that beta, any beta takes skill and if you were as good as you say you were then you shoudl be abel to get really good at the latest

A) Bots are for losers with no friends.
B) Dial up is too slow and too gay. C) I can't be f***ed draggin my computer down there to play. D) You can ask Greg and Liam etc how good I was with that gun if you like. Greg could still whip your ass with some practice I am certain. |
