Apologies if this has been posted already.

However, it looks seriously cool and will blow the Wii out of the water completely. I want one!

Introducing Project Natal, a revolutionary new way to play: no controller required. See a ball? Kick it, hit it, trap it or catch it. If you know how to move your hands, shake your hips or speak you and your friends can jump into the fun

I wonder if a TV can resist a wiimote or a boot more :)

That looks awesome. I think Sony is also working on a motion sensor project.

My guesstimate is that it will be limited to a simple gimmick. Most of the word on the street is that it's not that great.

Plus when Peter Molyneux pimps something, you just know its going to fall short of expectations.

I reckon a foot pedal would be more useful than this. And just to be explicit, I don't own a foot pedal.

I wonder if the novelty of it dies as quickly as it did for the Wii. There wont be anymore Wii remote related injuries. Although flailing about like a flaming idiot wont help.

And for those who have doubts about Natal:

Johnny Lee who did all the awesome wiimote hacks on youtube / ted talks is working on it, w00t.

mosty looks retarded, except the fighting one.

I would actually prefer to have some kind of prop ie: a steering wheel, a gun etc.

the FPS games are paorbably played cowboys and indians style with your finger as a gun!

I can understand why the Nintendo guys didn't go fully remote-less to start with but I bet they're wishing they did now

A couple of weeks back they actually had the Natal in an episode of Smallville, they were playing the ball game (similar to the scoccer game on wii fit).
