just curious: are there imported PS3 games that has more lag problems when played online compared to locally purchased copies?

ie, is it possible some games have network codes tweaked to best suit its' region of sale. or do they all perform equally regardless of the region they're from?

all games are region free (as i assume you are aware)
some games are locked to a region online ... to explain further... they will only show u.s.a game servers...

a quick google search on your intended purchase will tell you which ones do this.

cool, so as long as the game is not online-region-locked, then online performance should be the same as a copy purchased in the local region.

games in question are fifa2010 and pes2010.
just want to make sure i can play against local ppl when i get it.

thanks for clearing that up.
