Description:
Total Club Manager 06 by EA Canada - English data editor

The FIFA Manager 06 Data Editor is now available

There are some known issues with the editor in this first release, as follows :

- Crash bug

There is currently an issue in the Fixture List section of the League System whereby if the user tries to select a 'blank' box below the generic or original leagues provided the Editor will cease to respond and the user will lose whatever settings they had entered since their last save. To avoid encountering this issue, do not select blank boxes below the last league in the league section of the Fixture List.

- League System Creation: (Country Settings League System)

Step 1: Select a league format. To do this you must either select a preset league system listed under 'Select Original League system' or a Generic League system under 'Select Generic League System' and click on Update to refresh the change.

Step 2: Naming Leagues. To Name the created leagues click on the Competition name in the large white box to the right of the league system drop-downs.

Step 3: Customizing the League: To change the settings for the league click on the indented competition name. There are many settings in here that will affect the final league system. Note: Some of these settings are unavailable for Original league systems.

Step 4: League Composition: Click on the league composition button, select the league from the 'Leagues' Box. Drag the clubs from the 'Clubs' Section into the 'League' section until all the positions are full. Repeat with every other league. If there are not enough clubs to fill the leagues, leagues will need to be removed or additional clubs created.

Step 5: Fixture List: Click on the league composition button and click on the 'Fixture List' button. Then simply press 'Computer Generated Fixture List' to complete your fixture list for the season.

Step 6: Calendar: To complete the league you will need to pick dates for your fixtures. Click on the league composition button again and click the 'Calender button.' Now you simply click on a date to add fixture 1, 2, 3 etc.... be careful not to clash your fixtures with international games as this will bring up an Attention message. It is also import to remember whilst in the calendar section to create fixtures for 2006/2007 in addition to the 2005/2006 season. You can make this addition clicking on the down arrow next to where it states 2005/2006. Once you see 2006/2007 you will need to again select dates for the fixtures again making sure to put in every fixture and for them not to clash with international fixtures.

As usual there will be a release of the version 2 editor with the first patch which will see these issues resolved.
