my birthdays on the 13th of may! ... Hope this games good... It looks promising but its 90 bucks so i wont be jumping into it without a review/positive word of mouth.
Really, with our overly strong AUD we shouldn't be paying so much for games as those purchasing them from overseas to sell on our shores are certainly getting it for less then they did 12 months ago.
edit: Where you paying $90 for it? Steam has it for an almost reasonable $50 pre-order price for Aussies.
So sif pay $90 when you can pay $39.99 (pre order it is though) at a slight time delay.
Yep, it's 89.99 at the moment. Thankgod I got it for $50. This video is fairly boring.. aimed at console noobs methinks. Wish this thing would just release already.
I dont pre-order games unless they are made by blizzard... only developer who has had 100% quality.
While the quality of Blizzard games may be high and well polished, that does not imply the games are fun for everyone. I loved The Lost Vikings, Warcraft 1&2, Starcraft, Diablo 1&2 - however I absolutely loathe WoW and mostly disliked Warcraft 3.
Anyway .. does anyone have any thoughts for the best platform to play this game on (PC vs 360)? I loved Borderlands and the Halo games on the xbox but can't stand many other FPSs on the console unless the controls are done pretty much perfectly.
Resident Evil 5 is a prime example of what I would avoid - it felt like controlling the mars rovers while drunk and on acid with one hand tied behind your back, blindfolded.

Control-wise I can say that it feels pretty damn nice on Xbox, but unless they suddenly announce dedicated server support for the consoles, then PC will remain the unquestionable best option; hands-down.
Well they did put the release forward a week, so can't really say they aren't releasing it earlier. Also I emailed ozgameshop, and they've corrected their dates, so they are indeed shipping on the 12th.
