I want this game to be good, but every time I see combat gameplay, I'm disappointed. Assign ability to a number, click enemy, mash number. Lame.

It looks bad even for an mmo, and it's supposed to be a new mmo. Dunno what's up with it, it has been looking continuously oddly shit with everything they release.

There's no reason why the formula can't be changed for MMOs. It's just that hardly anyone has tried.

I'm not saying I know the solution, but fuck, there has to be something better than mashing numbers and grinding shit for epic lootz.
