While FIFA 13 doesn’t have the major game changers like last year, there are still small changes here that show why FIFA is currently the best in the business.

A sports game like this shines when competing with friends though, whether a quick game on the couch or online, the chance to pit your favourite teams and players against each other with you and your friends at the controls brings out the b-ball fan in anyone.

Resident Evil 6 Review (Score: 6.8/10)

Review by Steve Farrelly @ 2nd October, 2012
The larger problem stems from archaic design in certain aspects that need to be brought into a modern gamer-driven world. Players are used to incrementally progressive design with every new game, and while there are titles that homage classic videogames with nostalgic applause, in the slickly presented Resident Evil 6, they simply have no place...

If you enjoy clicking the left button of your mouse thousands of times in order to get pretty rewards on the screen, this is a no brainer – order a 4-pack and demand that your friends put their lives on pause!

After twenty hours of playing the game, I can happily say that I had a truly enjoyable time strapped into my virtual cockpit. Like the very best racing titles, with all driver aids disabled F1 2012 captures the hypnotic rhythm and flow that occurs when you’re racing the perfect line through a track you’ve spent hours practicing.

All things considered Madden 13 does bring a new level of excitement to gameplay through its much improved animation trees. It still plays very much the same however, with many rough edges around the career modes...

Borderlands 2 is a FPS/RPG fusion the rest of the videogame development world should stand up and pay attention to, because Gearbox has backed a real winner in this IP. A must-buy.

For all its rough edges, Tokyo Jungle is one of the year’s most exciting games, a work of such originality and clear vision that you end up sort of hoping that a sequel never gets greenlit...

DICE aims to give each of these mini-expansion packs a unique flavour of carnage, and the latest promises to rekindle the scope of past Battlefields, with the emphasis on vast playgrounds and more armour than a medieval museum...

We’re past the halfway point on The Walking Dead now, and it’s safe to say that Telltale’s foray into Robert Kirkman’s comic book world has been, barring any unforeseen awful downward shift in the last two parts, a success...

FoC is a step forward for the Transformers property albeit a small one. What remains impressive is that the game stays true to the roots of the series, good enough to stand as official canon.

New Super Mario Bros 2 is a Mario game, and in some ways it gives you pretty much what you’d expect.
