Well, if you thought the spy claims about the boat people affair were ridiculous, then here's something a bit meatier: the Government wants more power to spy on your private email, voice mail and SMS messages.

Now while we can ponder the fact that you'd have to have a suicidal government to grant legal spying rights to people other than the police, this is the same government that has Richard Alston in parliment, a net censorship law in effect, and no R rating for games.
