The AustralianIT is claiming that Micrsoft's dig at the Federal Government last week has received widespread industry backing.

I just find it amusing that a company who's US arm is claiming that any Government involvement or restrictions on it in the US will impinge its ability to 'innovate', is calling for tougher regulation of Telstra here.

Lots of people from various companies are quoted in the article, so it's worth having a look at if you followed last week's news post, "Microsoft has hit out against Telstra's broadband pricing".
