That, like the countless ray-tracing mods out there uses ReShade (Marty McFly's RT shaders) for Path-Traced Global Illumination - i.e. fancy words to say it uses ray-tracing to give off a more natural and realistic look to the lighting. What makes this even more impressive is that the ray-tracing is paired with screen-space reflection shaders to add some shiny reflective goodness.
