Crytek has today announced that their medieval-inspired action slasher Ryse: Son of Rome will be heading to PC on October 10th, with those pre-ordering the game before its launch gaining an exclusive 25-track digital soundtrack.

Previously an Xbox One-exclusive title, the game will arrive on PC at a price tag of $39.99USD, though you may want to be quick with that incase Steam applies the dreaded Australian tax. Features typical to a PC port are expected, which includes 4K resolution support and "taking full advantage of the PC." The PC version will also be bundled with previous DLC featured on the Xbox One, including all multiplayer maps.

Full details on what to expect for the new version can be found at the Steam page, which also includes a complete list of minimum and recommended specs which aren't too bad for today's standards. Don't know what Ryse: Son of Rome is? Check out our Xbox One review for all the juicy details!
