Preloading for Capcom's open-world zombie apocalypse Dead Rising 3 has begun on Steam, though it weighs in a costly 30GB for eager digital users.

Originally an Xbox One exclusive, the PC version boasts a number of features over its console brethren including high resolution, full Steam and game controller support. As an added bonus all four of the “Untold Stories of Los Perdidos” downloadable add-on packs are now included. Each add-on chapter focuses on a different protagonist and gives players access to crazy new weapons and vehicles that carry over to the main game.

If you haven't yet pre-ordered you can do so through the Steam page, which is currently offering a 10% discount putting the price tag at $44.99. Thinking of picking up Dead Rising 3 but not sure what to expect? Check out our original review of the Xbox One version for our thoughts on Capcom's zombie-infused title.
