Capcom has unleashed new trailers showcasing and teasing the forthcoming Resident Evil HD remasters due to arrive on consoles in 2015, with a clip from the original game.

While lots of people will get a chance to revisit (or play in full for the first time) the classic series from its origins in (somewhat) glorious HD, the truth is what we're looking at here isn't very different at all to the 'REmakes' that appeared on GameCube, in celebration of the series' push to Nintendo during that console's run, all those years ago.

Check out the new clips below, and if you were a fellow GameCube player, reminisce this series' hallmark moment on Ninty's console that (apparently) couldn't in the Comments below.

Something is wrong here. The teaser is for Revelations 2 which is not a remake.

RE HD remastered is a seperate game.

I reckon the wii one was the best. The one where you couldn't move and shoot and was just remade for IOS, PS3, XBOX 360 :)

I love this series as most of them are proper coop games as well!
