Over the weekend it came to light that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's PC specs were, as we reported them right here, alarmingly similar to the not-so-great-looking Call of Duty: Ghosts. This information actually came directly from Activision too, but today the company has issued an official statement citing that the information they posted was indeed from Ghosts' PC specs from last year and that this information was posted in error.
"The PC Specs for Advanced Warfare are not final. The info posted yesterday on the Activision store was from last year and posted in error. We apologise for any confusion. We look forward to releasing the actual PC specs once the game is optimised."
This is good news for everyone hoping that fledgling studio Sledgehammer Games can take the series to new heights.

We'll shoot you any information that comes from the PC side of things where Advanced Warfare is concerned as soon as we have them, so stay tuned.
