Deconstructeam released an update today for Gods Will Be Watching that reduces the point-and-clock game's difficulty with several new game modes.

The developer is calling it the Mercy Update, as it can remove random factors and the element of chance from hostage negotiations, if players choose to do so.

Puzzle mode removes the element of chance, so players can be more sure of certain consequences. Puzzle Mode Light does the same, but also removes random factors, making Gods Will Be Watching even easier. And finally, for players looking for more of a story experience, Narrative Mode makes the game as easy as possible –– Deconstructeam and Devolver Digital released the image below to capture the "feeling of the update."

This game is still challenging, one day I'll finish it. The sound track is amazing.
