Following a Comic-Con panel over the weekend, 20th Century Fox has released some promotional stills from Hitman: Agent 47, the upcoming film based on the classic Eidos murder simulation franchise (thanks
Polygon).
UK actor Rupert Friend (best known for his role as CIA Agent Peter Quinn in TV drama Homeland) is the latest thespian to wear the iconic barcode-clad bald head and business attire, replacing the late Paul Walker, who had originally been cast in the role. Agent 47 was previously played by Timothy Olyphant (Justified, Deadwood) some seven years ago in the studio's first attempt at a film adaptation.
Polygon has gotten a hold of a couple of stills of Friend wearing his Hitman garb and akimbo Silver Ballers, and some other less interesting information about the supporting characters played by Zachary Quinto (Star Trek Into Darkness, Heroes) and Hannah Ware (Betrayal).
Hitman: Agent 47 is due in theatres on Feb 27 2015.

Also why the hell not get David Bateson to play Hitman? He's been the voice of the character since forever and they modelled 47's appearance on him.
