Bungie has sent word to remind players that their Destiny beta will be offline for the next two days as the developer works on a maintenance period, with the beta phase to re-open on Thursday.
Thursday will not only mark the return of the beta, but will also allow those on the Xbox platforms the chance to jump into the world of Destiny. Originally launching last Thursday, Sony fans have been able to access the beta exclusively until now, with the beta opening to Xbox One and Xbox 360 come Thursday, 3:00AM AEST. The beta will remain open for all platforms until 4:59pm AEST on July 28th.
While developer Bungie is working hard on the maintenance periods, it hasn't stopped the studio from revealing just what pre-ordering the game will get you, besides the game of course. Those eager to throw their cash down ahead of the game's release will be able to gain exclusive access to the Vanguard Armoury pack, which gives you early access to several weapons and helmets. These include three helmets and one weapon in each category, along with an exclusive player emblem.
Destiny will be launching on September 9th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
