In an interview with AusGamers, legendary Platinum Games co-creator Atsushi Inaba spoke about developing Bayonetta 2 exclusively for Wii U.

In the interview he talks about challenges developing for Wii U, suggests Platinum may continue to make exclusive content for specific platforms, how working with Nintendo on a mature title fared and agreed that Bayonetta should be a playable character in Super Smash Bros.

"Honestly, my personal opinion, I would love to have Bayonetta in Super Smash Bros," Inaba enthused. "I’m waiting; and with Amiibo."
