Comcept, the Japanese Studio helmed by Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune has released some new gameplay footage of Mighty No. 9, the spiritual successor to the NES era robot action platformer.

The latest video supposedly features action from Mighty No. 2 and 5 stages and boss battles, and is looking about as close to a Mega Man game as you can probably get without violating Capcom's intellectual property.

Mighty No. 9 is still reportedly on track for launch in April 2015 on PC, with Mac, Linux, and console platforms also said to be in the works.
