Originally spotted by VideoGamer, a new trailer for Bungie's upcoming multiplayer shooter Destiny has revealed that Xbox One and Xbox 360 fans will be gaining access to the upcoming beta in late July.

The trailer is currently being played through Xbox One's dashboard, with the date featured towards the end of the video. Xbox Live Gold is mentioned as a requirement, though not much of a surprise considering PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 users require PlayStation Plus for online activity. Access to the beta requires a pre-order.

Sony's consoles have already been confirmed to have beta access on July 17th, so we expect that exclusivity to last only a week or two before Xbox fans can jump in on the action. A number of exclusive content deals have also been taking form for PlayStation console players, though rumours have begun creeping out that this content may only be exclusive until late 2015.

After playing the Alpha I'm already keen for Destiny, I might give the Beta a miss I'd imagine more content may be unlocked and I don't want to spoil it all.

The frame rate is going to be the same on both consoles at least. It's going to run at 30 fps on both PS4 and X1.

Hot damn. 50% faster than 20fps. That's really fast. I suppose it's a good thing they didn't go 60fps because I don't want to finish the game twice as fast.
