Blizzard has unveiled a new zone for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor called the Tanaan Jungle, a dangerous wilderness that will be the stepping stones for players first hours in the new expansion.

According to the new Battle.net post Tanaan Jungle contains a number of dangerous creatures, including the razor-sharped plants that are looking for a chomp of Orc skin. The new zone will also introduce players to some of the most well-known Warcraft characters to date, such as Grommash Hellscream, Kilrogg Deadeye, and Kargath Bladefist. Of course, don't expect these Orc Warlords and heroes of time to be happy in meeting you.

Not only will the zone serve as the first quest hub into the expansion, but those who utilise the boost to level 90 service will find Tanaan Jungle ready to show you the ropes. Players will be gradually introduced to their new class abilities and mechanics, though Blizzard does promise that you'll still be able to join up with fellow friendly adventurers.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will be available sometime during now and December 21st, 2014 for Windows and Mac OS X.
