Guild Wars 2 developer ArenaNet has today announced that they will be bringing their popular MMORPG direct to Gamescom 2014 in a rather large way, with the studio holding a Guild Wars 2 tournament throughout the gaming convention.

Named the Guild Wars 2 International All-Stars Tournament, the competition will bring together players from across North America, Europe and China regions as they battle it out. ArenaNet announced the tournament on their website, however details on the format, participants or venue have not been revealed yet, though they did note that competitors will be flown to Cologne, Germany where Gamescom is hosted.

Alongside the tournament, Guild Wars 2 will also appear in the Twitch booth on the Gamescom floor, so expect coverage of all forms. Gamescom 2014 begins August 13th and runs through to August 17th.
