Like a bad dream that keeps on giving, Rockstar's highly anticipated online heists feature for Grand Theft Auto V's online sandbox has once again been officially delayed. Originally citing an American Spring release, Rockstar has noted that the feature is taking more time to create than originally planned.
In a post
accompanying the new "I'm Not a Hipster" content update, the developer apologizes to fans for the holdup, saying, "We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support."
Sadly the post doesn't seem to note when to expect the online heists, though we have an inkling that these co-operative multiplayer missions may see the light of day come the new-gen and PC releases. The fabled dev does note that more content updates, enhancements and additions will be coming to GTA Online in the future.
Grand Theft Auto V and its online counterpart will be launching later this year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
