Blizzard has today revealed that the upcoming new-gen versions of Diablo 3: The Ultimate Evil Edition will be running at resolution rates of 1080p for PlayStation 4 and 900p for Xbox One.

Senior producer Julia Humphreys confirmed the resolution rates to Joystiq, also revealing that that the two versions will both run at 60FPS. "We're prioritizing frame rate," Humphreys said regarding the quality difference. It is unclear whether the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will have their resolutions changed from the original Diablo 3 launch of 1120x584.

Diablo 3: The Ultimate Evil Edition will be launching on August 19th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
