It was recently announced that Yager Development the German studio that brought us Spec Ops: The Line was the team working on Dead Island 2 -- the colourful looking sequel to Techland's popular open world zombie shooter -- but they have another project in the works as well.

Dreadnought is described as an "aerial armada action game" and even with its hulking sci-fi air vehicles and planned free-to-play model, it has more in common with the studio's history in air combat simulation than its recent forays into third and first person shooters:
Players take command of massive capital ships in the sky within the title’s core competitive and cooperative multiplayer suite and its episodic, single-player, story-driven campaign. Distinguished by a range of classes, subclasses, and varied progression paths, each warship is a force to be reckoned with, bristling with dynamic armaments and fully customizable to make your opponents crumble beneath the might of your bow.
Following a teaser trailer, German publication PCGames.de has released a preview video showing quite a bit of gameplay and offering a good idea on what to expect.

The video's commentary is all in Deutsch, but if you really need to know what they're saying an English translation has been posted over on the game's official Facebook page. Check it out below.
