Kicking off EA's E3 2014 press conference was a brief clip from developer DICE, showing the first look at what is perhaps the publisher's most anticipated title, Star Wars: Battlefront.

It's still looking like early days yet, but some brief in-engine footage was shown of the beloved IP running on the Battlefield developer's lush Frostbite engine, with scenes from the iconic ice planet Hoth and forest moon of Endor.

Once again, IGN has cropped out the relevant section of the conference for our viewing pleasure. Watch it below.

Star Wars: Battlefront is due in Autumn 2015 (Northern Spring) on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

On top of Frostbite Engine's -60% to hit target?

Visually looks great even from that early artwork. I imagine you would need GTX770 just to get something like it on screen. As usual they will probably cut the res down a bit before it goes retail.
