One of the big reveals at Microsoft's E3 2014 media briefing was the official announcement of the long rumoured followup to the 2007 sci-fi open world title Crackdown. Less expected however, is that it's not Crackdown 3, they're just calling it Crackdown again.

David Jones, the franchises original creator (and not the department store chain) is back at the helm for the new Crackdown which will feature cooperative multiplayer, dedicated servers and all the dark humour, crazy weapons and vibrant colours you would expect.

Crackdown is being developed exclusively for Xbox One. Watch the debut trailer below.
