Getting a head start on next week's E3 festivities, WB has released an E3 trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, the forthcoming open world action game from F.E.A.R. developer Monolith Productions, based in Tolkein's Lord of the Rings universe.

The latest clip is a purely CG cinematic scene depicting a face off between the game's protagonist Talion, and an ill-tempered Orc chap. Talion is of course bound with an immortal wraith spirit, earning him magical powers and the moniker of Gravewalker. Check it out below.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is due on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on October 8th 2014.
