Game-inspired bands aren't a new thing in this day and age, what with Blizzard having Level 90 Elite Tauren Chieftain for World of Warcraft among many others, so it doesn't come as a surprise to hear that Riot Games' League of Legends also has an "official" band: Pentakill.

The metal band has revealed their very first single off of their upcoming album Smite and Ignite, titled "Lightbringer," and if I do say so myself it is a rather well put together piece. With the single already garnering over 1 million views since being posted on YouTube and shared by Riot, its clear these guys are quite serious.

Pentakill is a five-piece band, consisting of different champions from the League of Legends verse. Smite and Ignite is slated to release on June 3rd of this year as a free download off of the band’s website. Have a listen to the single below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
