Shinji Mikami and Tango Gameworks' survival horror title The Evil Within has been pushed back to an October 21st date, publisher Bethesda Softworks announced today.

Originally scheduled for launch on August 29th, Bethesda revealed that "Shinji Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks have asked for additional time to further balance and refine the game in order to deliver the polished, terrifying pure survival horror experience they set out to create."

Don't want to wait until the new October date? Check out the video below to see a handful of brave volunteers go face-to-face with The Evil Within, coming out rather scared by the horror title. The Evil Within will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
