A rather large update is heading its way to the console version of Terraria developer Re-Logic has confirmed, and will be available for download tomorrow.

Version 1.2 of the game will bring the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360 editions up to date with the PC build, which received the large update back in October. The title update includes over 1000 new items, plus fresh enemies, bosses, friendly NPCs and pets, Re-Logic detailed in a post on the game's official forum.

Not only will the console and handheld versions be gaining the PC update, but Re-Logic has also confirmed that platform specific bug fixes will be making an appearance. The list is far, far too long to post here, so check out the patch notes for the full details.
