Hotline Miami developer Dennaton Games has revealed a new gameplay trailer for their second and final game in the top-down murder-sim series, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, showing off some new additions to your rather violent arsenal.

With a rather catchy tune to beat, the new trailer takes a broad look at how you'll go about clearing through the various enemies encountered along your path of ultra-violent destruction, including a number of new weapons. From the rather gory chainsaw to the return of shotguns and handguns, the new trailer definitely has one thing going for it: very, very gory.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will be available on PC, Linux, Mac OSX, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita come Q3 2014.

The soundtrack to the original is awesome, I can't wait to see how the sequel turns out.

I played the original and got about halfway through it over a dozen or so sessions but somewhere along the way I'd start having a kind of acid trip flashback with that music getting in my brain. Got a bit scary after awhile so i stopped playing. Damn those early 90's trips were special..
